Smaller Niche Blogs Will Teach You More Than A-Listers

Written by admin on August 29, 2008 – -

A lot of middle sized blogs will teach you more than any A-lister blog with tens of thousands of subscribers and visitors. Of course, there are a few exceptions such as Maki of DoshDosh.com but just in general sense of Making Money Online, smaller blogs fair better.

If you go to A-list blogs, yes, there is a possibility they will teach you something new to make money online but quite frankly, it’s usually some product they want you to sign up for through their referral link.

For instance, a lot of people try to write a post on the newest big thing at the time (PerformancingAds seems to be coming up) and plug their affiliate links and everyone signs up. Of course, just because someone tells you about the newest big thing it doesn’t mean it will help you make money online.

I mean, we can all sign up for these affiliate networks, new companies, etc but if you have no idea what you’re doing, more than likely you’re not going to make money online.

Now, if they told about the newest thing and wrote a post detailing step by step on how to actually make money, then that’s a different story.

Those A-listers won’t do that… but I will.

If there is anything you guys want to know about, let me know and I will dedicate an entire post detailing step by step. Of course, I actually need to know how to do that particular thing you’re asking for.

If you have or haven’t learned anything from this blog yet, please let me know what you’re interested in (besides just making money online) and I will write about it if I know.

I am interested in traffic building widgets, impression exchanges, etc.

Obviously building up traffic requires plenty of work but are there some effective passive systems that can be set up and put on autopilot for additional visitors?

I agree on this point. A-listers are more discreet in showing you “the hows” than the B-listers who are more eager to impress so there isn’t much holding back.

    Interesting thought yet it’s true.

But its good to look on the Archives of those A-listers, to see how they started. They weren’t A-listers right from the start.
