Best Ways to Instantly Increase Your Search Engine Traffic
Written by admin on January 15, 2009 – -If you think traffic is just traffic, well, you are wrong. The most important traffic are organic and I will go over some of the best ways to instantly increase your search engine traffic.
I’m not that type to live off of social bookmarking and networking sites’ traffic because quite frankly, those are the visitors that will be clicking on your ads, signing up through your referral and affiliate links or in simple terms - they will not help you make money online.
On the other hand, organic (or search engine) traffic are visitors looking for something specific and that is why they end up on your site. And if they don’t happen to find what they are looking for, they may consider clicking on your ads to bring them to another site which may help them on their way. That equals money in your pockets.
Now, let’s get to some of the best ways that have helped me instantly increase search engine traffic.
Find a popular keyword and use it
There are various ways of finding popular keywords but it’s all up to you. (I will cover how to do keyword research in a later post). Once you find the keyword that people are actually searching for, you want to include it within your title and your first sentence in your post.
Tips: Make sure you have your permalink set that your post title show up, that way your keyword appears in the URL. Also, try bolding the keyword you want to target in your post.
Build Links
This is probably the most important part that people overlook, you have to build links in order for your site to appear in search engines. The more links you have pointing to your site, the better. Plus, it’ll help with your pagerank, if that’s important to you guys.
Now, if your site doesn’t have many links, I would suggest building as soon as possible. (Again, I will write a future post about link building)
Also, if you’re trying to target a specific keyword that doesn’t go with your site, you can just build links specifically for that keyword post. So, rather than sending links to yoursite.com, you would send it to yoursite.com/yourpostgoeshere. Again, stay tuned for the link building aspects in a future post. And it’s not only blog commenting… don’t know why everyone thinks that is the only way.
Linkbait/come up with a killer title and introduction to your post
Once your keyword post shows up in the search engines, hopefully you made it on the first page (if so, congratulations) now you have to actually entice people to click through to your site. And how do you do it? Come up with a killer title post, of course!
If you’re trying to rank for a keyword like “Venomous snakes”, you might want to come up with a title like “Don’t Let These Venomous Snakes Kill You!” Eh, I hope you can come up with better ones. But you want them to click through and read your post.
Let people link to you
Now that you have done all of that, you want to try to build even more links. And how would you do such a thing? Try getting others to link to you as well. Trust me, if you write a killer post that is interesting or extremely helpful, people will reward you with backlinks. You just have to a) write the killer post b) make sure they find your article c) put some links at the bottom of your post with options of different ways to link to you. And it can simply be by having them submit to social bookmarking and networking sites for you.
This is just a outline on how to instantly increase your search engine traffic but make sure you subscribe to the RSS Feeds as I will be going into more details on how to build links, do keyword research, turning those visitors into money and subscribers and so on.
Stay tuned!

GTP Site SWATcash Goes Bankrupt – Shuts Down
Written by admin on December 12, 2008 – -Remember a while ago when I was preaching how great SWATcash was? I was saying how they were the best GPT site on the internet today, especially with them giving away tons prizes that include Xbox 360’s, iPod’s, etc. Well, it looks like the economy finally caught up with them because they recently filed for bankruptcy.
SWATcash was a very cleaver GPT website in which they would host contests to give away thousands of dollars weekly, gaming consoles left and right and made the site fun and beneficial for the users. Unfortunately, it benefited the users and a little less the owners.
Why? It looks like their business plan took a drastic hit when the economy started skydiving right towards the ground.
Essentially, the website was one in which you would get paid to sign up for things. The incentive was, not only would you get money for doing so, you could also build credits to exchange for prizes.
Honestly, I didn’t even find out that they were gone until just recent. Obviously, I haven’t logged into my account for quite sometime but for some reason I was still promoting it. (I’m sure you probably saw the banner displayed here).
Apparently, they shut down at the beginning of the month and thousands of users were smacked with the shocking news. The owner sent out this message:

Sorry For The Lack Of Posts
Written by admin on October 8, 2008 – -I’ve been extremely busy as of late so I know there has been a lack of posts on here. But don’t worry, the good news is the fact that I have been making more money online than I was before and I’m going to actually post the various ways I do. I mean, who doesn’t like an additional $x,xxx each month?
I can’t promise that I’ll be posting every single day because I’m not the type to post just to post, I believe in quality over quantity. And if you’re a blogger with a readership, you should care more about the quality of your posts because no one wants to read a lot of crap. If that’s the case, you guys would just be reading any blog out there. If that was so, then my blog would just get lost in the shuffle.
Also, before I forget, I know I said there was a new contest coming soon and there still is. I just haven’t had time to put it all together and as of this point, it’s pretty hard maintaining each entry, each contestant, etc with the lack of time I have. But don’t worry, I’m going to try to launch it by the end of this month.
Anyways, I hope you guys subscribe to my RSS Feeds so you don’t miss how I made $x,xxx this month and so you don’t miss out on my new contest!

Site Flipping Guidance Update: Would You Rather…
Written by admin on September 18, 2008 – -So, I offered to give site flipping guidance on a one on one type basis. I figured I could do that because this blog is still fairly small so I didn’t expect a lot of people to contact me. Plus, having a one on one session can be tough if I’m unable to chat live because of different time zones or other conflicting schedule type stuff.
I was wondering if you guys would rather have me start a blog post and just have you guys ask questions and I’ll answer through the comments, that way everyone else can read along because I’m sure a lot of people would have similar questions to ask. If you do it this way, you can rank really high in my top commentators which would help with backlinks at the same time.
Of course, there are some people who prefer talking in private because they want to show me things they would prefer not to show everyone else and I understand that privacy is needed so you have less competition and people trying to steal your ideas or whatever.
Anyways, I wanted to ask what you guys and just toss out the blog post and commenting idea. I think I know what you guys would prefer but I’m just suggesting.
Let me know!

Site Flipping is Easy
Written by admin on September 11, 2008 – -I don’t know how many of you guys are into site flipping but if you haven’t already tried it, what are you waiting for? Its easy money and more than likely you’re already doing all the necessary things to build up that site so why not sell it for a reasonable price?
There are some people who purchase cheap sites, fix it up and make it better and then resell it. While there are other people, such as myself, who build sites from ground up and sell it to make a pretty decent profit. I mean, if you’re a blogger who knows what they’re doing, site flipping will be a piece of cake for you.
If you don’t believe me, just answer these questions: Can you write articles for your blog? Do you know how to promote your blog? Monetize your blog? Build up your readership?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions then site flipping is just for you. I mean, spending an hour a day on your blog for a few weeks or a month to sell it for a few hundred or thousand dollars is definitely worth it, wouldn’t you say? I mean, if you managed to sell your site for $600 after one month, you’d be making $20/hour.
Just think about it. You work on the site for one hour a day for 30 days and if you can build up the site, word it right when you’re selling it then it should be no problem.
I know a few people who build these niche sites and sell it after just a few days! It’s pretty simple especially the fact that people are willing to buy your site even if your blog makes no money or doesn’t even get a lot of traffic. Of course, those sites won’t sell for as much as you’d like but a hundred or two for minimal work is pretty good if you ask me!
If you need help with any of this, I’m always up for helping. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll see what I can do.
