Market Leverage Contests Are Everywhere!

Written by admin on August 3, 2008 – -

Wow, it looks like Market Leverage is having a huge blowout with blog contests and giving away some great prizes that range from Nintendo Wii’s to iTouch’s to even LCD TV’s! Well, below is a list of Market Leverage contests that I have seen… so far.

I saw that Enkayblog.com collaborated with Market Leverage to give away a laptop and other great prizes like reward cards and USB pens. You could write a post like I’m doing but make sure you link to his post and Market Leverage.

That deadline is August 4th.

Myinvestingblog.com’s Market Leverage contest is giving out $300 worth of rewards card. There are 100 ways to enter and as easy as commenting on the contest post. Essentially, you’ll have to answer “If you were given $50,000 today, what would you spend it on?” And to answer the question, I’d probably take my friends and family on a much needed vacation and save the rest for whatever the future holds.

That deadline is August 6th.

Inspiredmoneymaker.com is having a Market Leverage contest that includes prizes such as a Flip Mino, rewards card and USB pens. But it’s a easy as commenting to enter but of course, I’m blogging about the contest.

That deadline is August 14th.

MixedMarketarts.com is having a Market Leverage contest with prizes that include a Flip Mino, 10 USB Pens and 4 $25 gift cards. The contest was slightly redone so everyone can enter. You can enter simply by linking to his Marketleverage Review page with a blog post. Well, that was easy, huh?

That deadline is August 20th.

DatMoney.com is having a Market Leverage contest and giving away a Nintendo Wii! There are plenty of ways to enter like signing up for free things, blogging about it or simply subscribing to his RSS Feeds by e-mail.

That deadline is August 29th.

I’ll be updating this page with more Market Leverage contests so feel free to subscribe to my RSS Feeds and I’ll update you without needing to check back!

You Want to Keep Your Advertisers and Sponsors Happy!

Written by admin on May 22, 2008 – -

Don’t overlook the small things because the more you overlook, the bigger these things will come back to haunt you. But a simple thing to keep in mind is: If you have advertisers and sponsors, you definitely want to keep them happy!

I know some people would think, “Hey, I got paid. The money’s in my back account already, if they want to renew, fine, whatever. If they don’t, again, I already have their money.” But don’t think like that, you want your sponsors and advertisers for the long run.

Think about it like this, if they renew their ad spot or whatever on your blog/site/forum then you don’t have to go through the hassle of looking for a new advertisers. And the more time it takes you to find a new one, the more money you’re going to be losing. And believe me, you don’t want to lose money if you don’t have to!

And if you need help on “How to get Advertisers to Buy Ad Space”, please let me know.

Also, if you have sponsors for a contest, let’s say, then you want to give your sponsors just as much exposure as you would for yourself. I recently held a “Get Traffic” contest on DatMoney.com and I got some good exposure and built up a lot of my stats but at the same time, it helped (or should have) every single one of my sponsors as well. And get this, none of them had to pay a dime because they all donated reviews and ad spots on their blogs. What I did was I made one of the options to write a blog post about the contest and include backlinks to every single one of my sponsors.

I can guarantee you that most, if not all, will sponsor me again in the near future if I ever held a contest.

Overall, you should always keep your sponsors and advertisers happy. It’s almost like that phrase, “the customer is always right!” And that should definitely be true.

Here are some tips on how you could help keep them happy:

- Give them a discount or package deal if they purchase a few months in advance
- Write a post to help give them some additional exposure or help with their SEO
- Put your sponsors before your own personal needs. Again, “the customer is always right.”
- Encourage all your readers to at least visit their site

See, simple things. People tend to overlook the simple things, but there you have it. I’m sure there are more but I’m at work right now and I’m not fully here lol!
