Make Money with Design Work Without Needing to Actually Design
Written by admin on August 7, 2008 – -I’m sure there are tons of people who have no idea on how to design logos, banners, headers or entire themes but that shouldn’t stop you from making money from it. Now, I’m not trying to confuse you but you can play the middleman and still make money from design work.
Let me explain.
The graphic designing business is definitely a great money maker because there are so many people who have no idea how to do it and I bet a majority are too lazy busy to learn. This is where you come in to help them.
Say you have no idea on how to make a design (and I’m sure there’s tons of us out there) but you know tons of people who need designs done (and that’s virtually every blogger out there and more!), you can simply play the middleman and still make money without designing a single thing.
There’s a bunch of ways to do it but essentially you want to find a designer who does work for very cheap. If you look right, there are tons of people willing to make full banners for less than $5.00 USD and they’re good quality. Basically you find someone who wants a banner design done and charge them, say, $15-$20. Then you just made a profit of $10-$15 for doing nothing but knowing people who need designs done.
You can also not pay the designer any money and make all the money for yourself . If you go to Entrecard.com, you will find tons of people willing to make designs for Entrecard credits. Now, Entrecard credits are free, you just earn them and there are plenty of easy ways to earn them without doing much work.
I’ll write about Entrecard in a later post.
Now, your job is to find people who want the designs. Well, you can find tons on Entrecard.com but I would hit up various forums such as Digitalpoint or any other one that has people in need of a design. Just post a thread and watch people come to you in a hurry.
And if none of the above works for you or you feel it’s too much work, there’s one last way of doing this.
You go to a local business and ask if they are willing to have you design a logo to represent them (or you can find anyone in need of a logo). Once they allow you, try to work out the price for the logo between $50-$100 (basic ones go for around that price but you can try to milk out more). After you agree on the price you tell them you’ll get them a few examples.
Here’s the easy part. Go to a forum like Digitalpoint to the contest section and start a new thread to pay a designer $25 to make a logo for you. There will be tons of entries which will equal tons examples for your client.
Then after that, you simply let your client choose, they pay you, you pay the ‘winner’ of the logo contest and you just made a profit without designing a single thing!
Hope that makes sense. Any questions, feel free to ask!

Win up to $50 Paypal Simply by Commenting
Written by admin on August 5, 2008 – -If you noticed, I said up to $50. There’s a catch, of course. I will put in one dollar for each person who enters my contest. So if only 20 people enter then the prize pool will be $20. But if 50 or more enter, then the cash prize will be $50.
Again, there will be other prizes (see below):
Let’s go over the few prizes:
First prize: Up to $50 paid through Paypal

Third and Fourth prize: 125×125 advertising for one month
Fifth and Sixth prize: Blogroll link for one month
I know this contest isn’t huge with giveaways that equal $50,000 or whatever but it’s extremely easy to enter.

AnotherMMOblog Contest Coming Soon!
Written by admin on August 2, 2008 – -Since I started to refocus my time into this blog, I’ve decided the best way to celebrate is holding a contest to give to the readers. I haven’t decided what to give away just yet as I’m contacting a few sponsors as we speak.
Honestly, I think I’m going to give away a mix of prizes that includes anything from cash (paid through Paypal), free advertising, Entrecard credits (because I know you Entrecard addicts would love that) to anything else I can dig up.
Who knows? I may be giving away an iPod, Nintendo DS Lite or something on those lines too.
I’ll probably announced the contest sometime next week so feel free to check back! OR subscribe to my RSS Feeds so you don’t miss out!

ExposedSEO’s Contest w/ Cash and Entrecard Credits
Written by admin on April 14, 2008 – -So I recently discovered this site called ExposedSeo.com and I have to say, it is quite interesting. I read 4-5 articles before I stumbled upon his “Competition time” post in which is will be giving away cash and Entrecard credits incentives for doing a few easy thing:
- You can blog about his contest or just review his blog in general
- Subscribe to his RSS Feeds via e-mail
- Drop your Entrecard a few times in his inbox (which you’ll probably do anyways)
- Or simply Stumble his post
Easy enough, huh?
Well, I entered because it seemed easy enough. Plus, his site seems pretty informative so it’s almost like a win win situation for me. Though, hopefully I’ll actually win some cash prizes!

Should I Use Entrecard on this Blog?
Written by admin on April 11, 2008 – -So far, I’m sure I have absolutely no readers, followers, visitors. A good way of getting quick traffic and also manipulating Alexa ratings (even though we all know how inaccurate it is) is to sign up for Entrecard.com and become one of those chain droppers or drop and runners.
Without putting anybody specifically out there, I know quite a few people who have made it into the top 100k in Alexa ratings within a couple months.
What’s their secret you ask?
Well, I already mentioned it but it’s using Entrecard and dropping cards like crazy. The reason why it’s easy to manipulate Alexa ratings by using Entrecard is simply the fact that Alexa ratings are based on people who have the Alexa toolbar installed. The more Alexa toolbar installed visitors you get, the better your Alexa rating gets. Fortunately for a lot of Entrecard users, I want to say 90% of them have the Alexa toolbar installed.
There you go, problem solved.
If you know me from my other blog, I was a huge fan of Entrecard when it first came out because it’s a great way of getting introduced to various blogs you probably would have never knew about. The bad part is the fact that people abuse the system and you (the blog owner in which they drop their cards onto your widget) end up with terrible stats because of those "fake visitors."
If you have used Entrecard before or are still using it, I hope you had the opportunity to actually examine your visitor statistics from Entrecard referrals. Notice something there? Yup, your bounce rate is so high it’s not healthy for your site, or you. Wait, you saw your average time on site stats? Entrecard referrals spend less than 10 seconds on your site?
Well, at least you got a unique visitor counted towards you Alexa rating!
So, should I put Entrecard on this site? Well, more than likely I will. But I don’t plan on becoming a hypocrite (even though everyone is one) and become a chain dropper or a drop and runner to participate in those terrible stats that equal "fake visitors."
